Ali MacGraw

Ali MacGraw aka Elizabeth Alice MacGraw was an American actress, activist for animals and a writer, who has won numerous Awards. Love Story (1970), Goodbye Columbus '69 and The Getaway 72 are among her most famous movies. New York was her home and she grew up in an environment that was artistic. In the beginning she was employed as an assistant to photographers. Then her work changed towards modeling and directing. She received an award called the Golden Globe Award, for the most promising young talent. The MacGraw's Love Story from 1970 was an enormous success that earned the world to her, as well as an Academy Award nominee and Golden Globe Award. Within three years she was named the most popular female box-office starter in the whole world. Her handprints, autograph and footprints were engraved in 1972 at Grauman's Chinese Theater. She was a part of several other movies, including The Getaway Convoy Players and the miniseries on TV The Winds of War among other. Moving Pictures is her autobiography which was published in the year 1991. MacGraw was divorced three times.
