Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise was an American actor, singer as well as a writer. She is most famously recognized in the role of Ginger Grant from the TV series Gilligan's Island. She began acting as a stage actor in the 1950s and began at the age of Two's Company a musical by Bettle Davis. Thereafter she acted in numerous Broadway shows before going popular in the national theatre scene with Li'l Abner's in the year 1957. In the same year, she recorded her first album of music, It's The time for Tina. Louise's first venture into Hollywood was when she played Griselda In God's Little Acre, a 1958 drama. The film garnered wide acclaim. Louise won the Golden Globe Award under the New Star of the year category. She was enrolled at Actors Studio, New York during this period and became Lee Strasberg's pupil. The year 1964 saw her win her second notable role, when CBS hired her to play Ginger Grant. Louise performed a superb performance juggling Broadway as well as Hollywood. She was portrayed as a dark and contrasting characters in contrast to the glamorous doll she was perceived as. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. SG-1, and Helen Magnus on Sanctuary. Recently, she's been a renowned director of popular television shows such as Supernatural as well as The 100. Born in Essex in Ontario on the 28, August 1965 her family moved to Toronto around the age of three. She spent the majority of her youth there, and later her teenage years. When she was selected in 1997 for the role of Samantha Carter she settled down in Vancouver and has been living in the city ever since.
