Taylor-Momsen

Taylor Momsen hails from St. Louis Missouri and is an American model, singer songwriter and actress. Her most famous work is her character on the CW television series Gossip Girl as Jenny Humphrey and as lead singer of The Pretty Reckless. Momsen has seen her music used in films and TV shows like How to Be single Going to the Limit as well as Two and a Half Men. Taylor Momsen has one younger sister named Sloane Momsen. She trained in dance at the Center of Creative Arts in St. Louis. Her first professional performance came when she was three in a 1997 national commercial for Shake and Bake. Momsen went on a career hiatus for more than three years prior to being chosen to play the lead role in Misconceptions, a WB television show. Momsen also appeared on the show Saving Shiloh in the year 2006. In addition, Momsen was a candidate to be the lead character on Hannah Montana. She was one of the top three however, Miley was given the part.
