Cecily Legler Strong is a well-known American stand-up comic and actor famous as a prominent actor on 'Saturday Night Live'. Her acting career began in the theater however, she found herself fascinated by comedy after having taken an improv workshop at 9 years old. The initial plan was to become an actress but soon realized she was gifted in comedy. Thus, her main focus was shifted towards Improv. She began her career as a cruise ship performer with crew members from Second City Conservatory, iO Chicago and other improv troupes. Strong has continued to perform at popular festivals, including Chicago Sketch Fest. The Edinburgh Fringe Festival. New York Sketchfest. Also, Virgin Daiquiri. Virgin Daiquiri is an all female group of improv. The actress became a household name in 2012 after she appeared as a cast member on "Saturday Night Live" in its 39th season, as a cast member hosting Weekend Update with Seth Meyers initially, and Colin Jost later. The character of Cecily from the show "The Girls You Wouldn't Start a Conversation With in a Party' was the most memorable moment in her series. The same year she made her movie debut with the short film "How to Fund an Uterus'.
